trasferimento emc2

Ciao,
ho una cnc Azienda che ha scelto di non essere nominata in questo Forum che non ho ancora mai usato. Mi hanno dato anche un pc con ubuntu e emc2.
Purtroppo questo pc è veramente obsoleto e ha la versione 2.4.6 di emc2.
Sul desktop è presente un link per lanciare EMC2 collegato ad un file config.ini .
se installo tutto su un altro pc mi basta copiare la certella di configurazione e ricreare il link ?

Vai sul sito linuxcnc e scarica la versione 2.6 con il kernel RTAI; ci sono le istruzioni disponibili.
emc2 e' stato sostituito da linuxcnc.

Grazie, provero' questo week end.
tutte le configurazioni le trovero' sul fil .INI vecchio?
i dati che trovo in questo file mi possono essere utili anche per configurare mach3 ?

1) come indicazione di massima Ti possono servire; il mio consiglio e' quello di utilizzare la procedura automatica e poi, eventualmente modificarla.
2) non conosco mach3

bhè.. adesso ne approfitto :-)
ho scaricato linuxcnc dal sito e lo sto provando in live prima di installarlo.
Quando apro EMC2 mi chiede che tipologia di configurazine voglio fare.
Ne ho provate alcune ma non funzionano.
Io ho una scheda TB6560 ... cosa devo selezionare per iniziare a configurarla?

ho preso anche la cartella della configurazione che c'era sull'altro ubuntu dove funzionava ma va in errore

provo a rispondere ma vado a memoria
nel menu applicazioni seleziona ->cnc
la seconda voce permette di scegliere la prima configurazione (step_mm)
la penultima voce prevede un wizard per la configurazione in automatico
Il manuale della tua scheda dovrebbe indicare la durata degli impulsi

Per quanto riguarda il file.ini vecchio devi verificare se la dir ed i nomi dei file sono presenti nella nuova installazione; inizia a far muovere la macchina e successivamente integri il nuovo file.ini con le indicazioni del vecchio file.ini

Grazie mille .. appena posso provo
purtroppo non ho il manuale della scheda, riesco a trovare i dati degli impulsi sulla vecchia configurazione?
avevo provato step_mm .. quando cerco di spostare gli assi sento un rumore nei motori come se rispondessero ai comandi ma non si muovono.
per controllare se è imputabile ad un problema meccanico ho provato ad usare il vecchio pc e gli assi si muovono.

prova a modificare gli impulsi del tuo nuovo file.ini usando stepgen wizard oppure attendi qualche altra delucidazione.
io uso driver rta e non ho dovuto indicare nessun valore.
Con stepgen puoi comandare e controllare i motori

tra un po' getto la spugna...
sul pc nuovo non ne vuole sapere nulla .. allora ho rimesso il vecchio dove è già configurata.
stranamente riesco ad azzerare tutti gli assi tra l'asse X .. mi rimane sempre a -59 anche dopo l'azzeramento
